My latest painting!

I had so much fun with this, I used a lot of multimedia techniques. She has texture paste and book pages in her hair, and there is lots of layering to get the translucent effect in the background. I finished it with the bird stamp, one of my favorites. I love art!

Art Journaling Page

This was so fun, I mixed up color copies of all my own art and made this beautiful collage art journaling page!!! I'm doing the free art workshops over at Strathmore for their new visual journals. The first workshop is by one of my favorite artists, Pam Carriker, so of course I had to join in!!!

Our First Home (Chapters 30-33)

This is our first apartment, which we now only use for communications and dinner, otherwise we sleep and do everything else in another studio 2 blocks away. It really helps a lot though, so we don't feel quite so incredibly squished!

Chapter 29

This was my 32nd birthday, right after I had just gotten to Paris. It was very special.
